How can a soundbar the size of a ruler produce such a rich soundstage? The CineMate® 15 system’s soundbar conceals a four-element speaker array, which works with Bose® TrueSpace® signal processing to spread the sound well beyond the limits of a regular speaker. It transforms homes into cinemas for that fully immersive feeling. When gaming, the virtual worlds become even more real. As far as soundbar speakers go, this little champ performs well beyond its size.

The system fills the room with sound but takes up very little space. The soundbar slots in easily below most TVs and requires only a single connection, meaning little to no disruption to other components and their connections. The Acoustimass® module can be slipped out of sight with virtually no impact on the appearance of the room. The look won’t change, but the entertainment experience will be totally transformed.

The CineMate® 15 system creates clear and expansive sound that envelops and moves the listener. The CineMate® 15 system uses new Bose® proprietary TrueSpace® signal processing to deliver wide, spacious sound from a surprisingly small speaker, with the exciting impact of deep bass from the Acoustimass® module. And setup is quick and easy with only one connection to the TV.
How does the CineMate® 15 system connect to a TV?
The audio connection is made on the soundbar itself, using either the analogue, optical digital or coaxial digital audio input, depending on the TV's output type. A permanently attached audio cable connects the soundbar to the Acoustimass® module, which can be hidden out of sight.
What placement guidelines should be considered to ensure optimal audio performance from the CineMate® 15 soundbar speaker?
The CineMate® 15 system uses the reflective surfaces of the room to deliver a spacious home cinema experience. To ensure optimal audio performance, the soundbar should be placed equidistant from each side wall and directly in front-centre of the TV. No objects should be placed on either side of the soundbar, nor should it be placed inside a cabinet, as this would result in a limited sound stage.
What placement guidelines should be considered to ensure optimal audio performance from the Acoustimass® module?
For best sound quality, the Acoustimass® module should be placed on the floor against the same wall as the television and soundbar, with an electrical outlet nearby for the power cable. The module should not be placed on a shelf or table. An extension cable (sold separately) is available if the 3 m (9 foot) audio cable is not long enough to connect to the soundbar.
Do I need a separate receiver with the CineMate® 15 system?
No, the system connects directly to your HDTV.
Can the CineMate® 15 soundbar speaker be wall-mounted?

I would give 4.5 star. It is suitable for movie and boomy music. Deep rumbling bass. Sounds pretty spacious without sounding fake/distance. Voice is clear. Wired subwoofer is not a problem to me as a sub-woofer is meant to place near to the front speaker to optimize sound. The only thing i would complaint is thick cablesss connecting between the speaker and sub-woofer. It is not meant for audiophile music but does great job in adding impact and excitement for movie. It is probably one of the best price vs performance speaker within Bose range.

I just bought this product few days ago and am really happy with it to be honest.. Great sound popping out,crystal clear,deep bass,good value for money,good perform.. Words cant explain buh am happy with what i bought my money.if u re a lover of music and sounds then pls go for this..

What can I say, what an awesome piece of kit was a bit dubious at first about a single speaker system! How wrong I was the sound is spacious crystal clear and the bass is like being in a night club! Can't praise this enough not cheap but well worth it! Own a few Bose products and won't buy anything else!

Bought this 3 months ago and using it like a deck ,connected it to tv pklaying audio songs through USB, movies are just perfect watching in this ... If you are music lover and want to enjoy each and every beat of the music then this is the one.. There is no comparision of this product with any other as this beats all the available sounds bards. Its Simple, perfect and easy to use. In one word its simply Superb!

I recently upgraded my entire, tv, dvd and Dolby 5.1 system. As I wa setting a Samsung curved to, they had a sound bar with it, however when comparing the sound quality the Bose was immensely better and decision made. This is a very good system, simple, stylish, with great sound quality.

Purchased this 4 months ago as not satisfied with sound quality of my TV. Have a dedicated cinema room with 7.1 and projector to watch Blu rays so TV sounded muffled and lifeless in comparison. Do not regret purchasing this item as it really does a remarkable job providing both clarity for dialogue and depth for effects. Previously owned a Samsung model which was OK for half the price of the Bose. However having heard Bose products of friends I decided to try this under the 30 day trial. I knew within a few hours it would not be going back
