With the built-in hub, starting your smart home is easy.

Echo Plus connects to and controls smart lights, plugs, switches and more. Just power on compatible products and say, “Alexa, discover my devices.” Echo Plus will automatically detect and set up those devices so you can control them with your voice. This simple setup process works with dozens of compatible smart home devices that use Zigbee. Echo Plus also supports every Works with Alexa smart home device.

Make your life easier at home. Use your voice to set timers, add items to lists or create calendar events and reminders. You can also check the news, weather or traffic, or ask for sports scores, film showtimes, restaurant hours or information.

Echo Plus has a new premium speaker design with Dolby Processing, engineered for high-quality audio. Use your voice to ask for any song, artist or genre from Amazon Music, Spotify, TuneIn, and others, and play music across compatible Echo devices throughout your home. You can also listen to Audible, radio stations and more.

You can call almost anyone hands-free, including UK mobile and residential numbers (from UK only. Emergency calling not supported), other Echo devices, the Alexa app and Skype.

You can also link Alexa with your EE and Vodafone UK mobile phone account to ask Alexa to make and answer your mobile calls.

With the Drop In feature enabled for room-to-room calling, quickly connect with Echo devices in your home. Let your household know when dinner is ready, ask someone for help with a chore or remind the kids to go to sleep—without having to raise your voice.

Alexa has tens of thousands of skills and counting. Skills are like apps and help you do more, such as playing True or False, tracking your fitness with Fitbit or falling asleep to rain sounds. Just say “Alexa, help me get started with skills”.
