The latest Dyson upright vacuums have an active base plate that self-adjusts across every floor type. It maintains close contact with the floor at all times, automatically raising and lowering. By arranging the inner cyclones in a radial formation, airflow can be channelled directly through the centre of the cyclone assembly once it has passed through both stages of separation. This improves flow efficiency, preserving air pressure and maximising suction. It also allows refinement of the inner cyclones – to capture more microscopic dust.
