How is the Bose® Solo 15 TV sound system different from the original Bose Solo system? |
The Bose® Solo 15 system shares many features and benefits with the original Bose® Solo system, but now has several new features. It can support much larger TVs and has acoustic improvements such as a dedicated center speaker for improved intelligibility, plus new digital signal processing and driver placement for improved spaciousness. It also features a bass level knob so you can adjust low-note performance to your liking. |
What size TVs are compatible with the Bose® Solo 15 TV sound system? |
The Solo 15 TV sound system is designed for TVs with bases that are no wider than 61cm and no deeper than 31cm. Most TVs 46" and smaller meet these requirements and some 50" TVs will fit as well. The maximum weight that can be placed on the Solo 15 TV sound system is 34 kg, which is 2 times the weight of a typical 42" (107cm) television. |

Where should I place the system? |
Place the system directly below your TV on a flat and stable table or shelf, large enough so that the TV speaker fits with no overhang. |
What if the TV’s base is larger than the system’s top? |
A TV should not be placed on the Bose® Solo 15 system if the TV base is larger than the system’s top. However, the product can still be used by placing it on an open shelf that’s above or below the TV. |
Can I listen to the system with my headphones? |
No, there is no headphone output on the system. If you want to listen to TV with headphones, you can use the TV’s headphone output. |
Can I connect other sources (e.g., gaming system, DVR) to the system? |
Any device with an analog, optical or coaxial digital audio can be connected to the Bose® Solo 15 system. However, it's recommended that you only connect the system to your TV to ensure sound and picture always match. |
What type of devices can be controlled with the system’s remote? |
The system’s remote can control many common sources like a cable or satellite box, Blu-ray Disc™ player, etc. |
