DC39 Multi Floor

DC39 Multi Floor has Dyson's latest Radial Root Cyclone™ technology, with airflows remodelled to maximise suction power. It has Ball™ technology to turn on the spot and follow with greater control. DC39 Multi Floor comes with a Musclehead™ tool that self-adjusts for different floor types.

² Historically, manufacturers based “no loss of suction” claims on a single test that can be completed before a vacuum’s bin is full. We repeat that test to bin full 100s of times consecutively, amounting to 10 years’ worth of test dust, to ensure vacuums containing Dyson Cinetic™ science maintain constant suction.

Engineered to remove more dust.

Captures more microscopic dust than any other cyclone

Dyson cyclones are more efficient than others – more dust and dirt is flung out of the airflow and into the bin.

Radial Root Cyclone™ technology

By arranging the inner cyclones in a radial formation, airflow can be channelled directly through the centre of the cyclone assembly once it has passed through both stages of separation. This improves flow efficiency, preserving air pressure and maximising suction. It also allows refinement of the inner cyclones – to capture more microscopic dust.

Removes dirt and dust from every floor type.

DC39's turbine head has stiff nylon bristles to remove ground-in dirt from carpet, and soft carbon fibre filaments to gently remove dust from hard floors. There's no need to adjust anything when moving from one floor to another.

The brush bars of most vacuums only contain nylon bristles. While these loosen dirt from carpets, they're less effective on hard floors where fine dust can be left behind. Dyson brush bars are different. They have a row of anti-static carbon fibre filaments, as well as nylon bristles. The filaments prevent the build up of static charge that holds dust to the floor, allowing it to be sucked up into the vacuum.

Ball™ technology – low centre of gravity and central steering

All of the vacuum's key components are housed within the ball itself, including the electronics, the motor, the pre-motor filter and up to 6.5 m of power cable. This creates a low centre of gravity and provides stability. Dyson Ball™ cylinder vacuums are also the only cylinder machines to have a central steering mechanism, so they follow you accurately as you pull them along.

Removes hair without the tangling

DC39 Animal comes with the Tangle-free Turbine tool, so you can remove dirt and hair from confined spaces and uneven surfaces – without it tangling around a brush bar.

Counter-rotating heads

When hair wraps around the brush bars of conventional turbine tools, it slows them down or stops them working. Untangling has to be done manually – a messy and unhygienic job. The Tangle-free Turbine tool uses counter-rotating heads with brushes to remove hair and dirt. Because the heads spin in opposing directions, hair doesn’t tangle as it’s picked up – it goes straight into the vacuum, and into the bin.
