DC34

Dyson suction power. Without the hassle of a cord.

DC34 delivers 15 minutes of powerful, constant suction – or 6 minutes on Boost mode for tougher cleans. It's powered by the Dyson digital motor, which spins up to 5 times faster than a racing car engine. DC34 has a lithium-ion battery that recharges up to 3 times faster than others, and Dyson's patented Root Cyclone™ technology for no loss of suction.

² Historically, manufacturers based “no loss of suction” claims on a single test that can be completed before a vacuum’s bin is full. We repeat that test to bin full 100s of times consecutively, amounting to 10 years’ worth of test dust, to ensure vacuums containing Dyson Cinetic™ science maintain constant suction.

Powerful suction that doesn’t fade

Other handhelds lose suction as you clean, but DC34 doesn’t. It provides higher suction power than any other handheld in use – suction power that starts strong, and stays strong.

Digital motor technology

Dyson handheld vacuums are powered by the Dyson digital motor. This power-dense motor uses digital pulse technology and a neodymium magnet to spin at up to 110,000 times a minute. Its small size means that the machines it powers can also be small, light and powerful.

Root Cyclone™ technology

There are other handheld vacuums that are bagless. But with inefficient cyclones, dust can pass through onto the filter, clogging it and causing suction loss. Dyson handheld vacuums use patented cyclone technology, just like our corded machines. Powerful centrifugal forces spin dust and dirt out of the air and into the bin, ensuring that high suction power is maintained.

15 minutes of high constant suction

With a fade-free lithium-ion battery, DC34 provides 15 minutes of high constant suction – or 6 minutes on boost mode, for more difficult tasks.

Light and ergonomically designed

At just 2.9 lbs, DC34 is light to hold – and it’s designed to fit naturally into the shape of the hand. The center of gravity is located towards the grip, making it easy to handle.
